Hey guys, sorry i haven't been very active recently. Right now i'm really busy working on my novel - i'm finally getting towards the end of the editing, and i really need to work hard and get it all fixed up so i can send it out to publishers again. I don't know how long this is going to take, but while i'm working on it i'm not going to have time to do very much art or tutorials. I'm really sorry about this, but it's important i get this finished.

Fear not though, this doesn't mean i won't ever be making any more tutorials. There will be plenty of those in the future, it's just that right now i need to focus on my writing.

What's this? A journal entry? What is the world coming to?

I'm sorry i've been so MIA of late. Life has been busy and crazy and my head is exploding with work and people and life. But all is well, i'm not dead!

Thank you so much to all the wonderful people who watch me and favourite my work, you guys are all amazing. I love reading all your comments and seeing the things you make from my tutorials. Bear with me a while and i promise there will be more tutorials and the likes up soon. I have a Totoro tutorial planned in my head, so to all you Ghibli fans that will be coming up sometime soon (i hope).

So i haven't been very active on dA recently, nor have i been doing much art, however there is a reason for this - all will soon make sense!

Last week I broke my arm.

It's pretty tragic, i've never broken anything before. Fracturing limbs just isn't really my style - usually i like to go for head injuries with copious amounts of blood or something that will scar nicely. But we went on holidays, and thought 'Hey, we should go ice skating, we haven't done that in years' and i decided that this would be the day to drag my parents to ER and make them wait there four hours while i tell the doctor that yes that part of my arm does hurt.

It's all fine now, and it's not too serious of a brake. However, it does make EVERYTHING ridiculously hard, including typing (you have no idea how long this has taken me to write) which is why i haven't been keeping up with comments and stuff. I'm really sorry about this guys and i do really appreciate all your favourites and comments. It's just really difficult to use a keyboard right now.

Hopefully it will all be fixed soon, and i'll see if i can think up any more tuts while i'm thus injured. But for now - who else saw Hunger Games?

Sooo i FINALLY finished school! Man, freedom is such a great feeling! And i'm taking a year out, which means twelve months of nothing! Well...except working of course...

But STILL, with this much freedom it means i'll finally have time to do more art! Yay! I've been trying a lot of new styles on my tablet, so there will probably be more of that. I have some traditional sketches i might upload, and my school major works which i'll put up when i get my marks back from them. I also have some more clay tutorials i want to do. I have ideas for a tutorial for a little robot like the ones in this photo: fav.me/d3jarh1

If you have any suggestions for art or tutorials, then just let me know. I'm always open to ideas.

Other than that i will just be enjoying my new freedom!

Yeah, so lately i haven't had much time for art, since most of my efforts have been going towards finishing my major works for school. I'm nearly finished them, but there still may not be much art for a while.

However, i have been doing a lot of clay/craft stuff, because i find it easy and relaxing, and since i've been doing a couple of tutorials, i was wondering if anyone had any specific tutorials they wanted me to do, or try to do? A few ideas i had, were some Harry Potter related things - i did make myself Deathly Hallows earrings, for the movie, and also a bracelet with miniature HP books on it, so if you want tutorials on those let me know. Mind you, a few other people have done the book charms before, so there are probably other tutorials on those.

On the subject of Harry Potter...what did you all think? Which bits did you cry at/laugh at etc? I'm going to be honest and say i cried most of the way through. My love of Snape also increased about tenfold, which i didn't think possible considering how much i love him already.

Anyhow, give me tutorial ideas, or even just clay charm ideas if you want, and now i must got back to meticulously drawing art nouveau robots in A1 size...
